Our History

In 1975, 24-year-old Charalampos Kontogiannis takes it upon himself to cultivate the landed property of the Kontogiannis family.

Full of enthousiasm and zest starts to cultivate the land that he so much loves. He cultivates wheat, barley, tare, while at the same time tries new crops, which leads to today’s production of pulse.

Later, in 1989, he starts reluctantly to run an amateur business as an apiarist, which leads to today’s professional, having under his supervision over 300 beehives.

Today, the new generation has taken over. His daughter Maria, with studies in agronomics and a postgraduate degree in Business Administration (MBA), contributes in the improvement of production and in the organisation of the network of distribution.
